Terms and Conditions 

1. Booking a Pitch

1.1. A deposit of 20% of the total fees is required when making your booking, this forms a contract between yourself and Trewan Hall. If you wish to amend your booking you may email us on [email protected] or telephone the reception on 01637 880261 as soon as possible. Deposits are non-refundable. On arrival the total balance is due.

1.2. Day visitors must report to reception.

 

2. Your Booking

2.1. We regret refunds cannot be made if you leave the park early.

2.2. There is a maximum 28 night stay at any time and a minimum of a 3 night stay during the high season only.

2.3. There is a maximum of 6 persons per pitch. An additional pitch may be required if there are more people.

2.4. We reserve the right to decline a booking or terminate a holiday, without compensation, if in the opinion of the proprietors or staff, the unreasonable behaviour of guests may lead to a situation that could prejudice the service, safety or comfort of the other visitors or staff.

2.5. We reserve the right to amend the cost of your holiday and published tariffs, without notice, if the rate of VAT changes.

2.6. Trewan Hall is relieved of legal and financial liability where circumstances are beyond it’s control.  These shall include but not be limited to riots, civil disturbance, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, pandemic, epidemic, storm, fire, water or power cuts hereby known as a Force Majeure.

2.7. Booking Supplement:  A single person must pay an additional child rate per night during high season.

2.8. We welcome bookings for any day of the week.

 

3. Check-in/out

3.1. Check-in is between 8:30 and 20:00 at reception, while checking in please use the parking behind reception.

3.2. Check-out is 12 noon on the day of your departure, please ensure your pitch is completely clear by this time.

 

4. Changes to Booked Dates

4.1. Notice must be given 4 weeks prior to arrival otherwise you will be charged for the full period originally booked for.

 

5. Cancellation arrangements

5.1. You may cancel this booking at any time but we will retain;

      a) 20% of the total fees (the deposit amount) when refunding or

      b) a minimum of £50 if the fees attract less than £50 deposit or

      c) the full amount of fees paid if the total fees are less than £50.

 

6. Pitching

6.1. Distance between camping units must be 6 metres (20 feet) minimum. This is measured from canvas and caravan side excluding cars, windbreaks and pup tents.

6.2. Upon arrival you will be allocated your pitch, this is a 52 square metre area where one caravan/campervan/main tent is permitted plus your car, our guests are able to erect one pup tent plus any other gazebos etc as long as they do not exceed the allotted area.

 

7. Cars

7.1. There is a 10 mph speed limit throughout the site .

7.2. No driving is permitted on the fields between 12 midnight and 8am.

 

8. Cycling/Scooters etc

8.1. ​​​​​​​No cycling is allowed on site.

8.2. Skateboards and scooters are permitted as long as this is safe and not adjacent to pitch units.

8.3. No Skateboards or scooters are permitted in the Pool area.

 

9. Dogs

9.1. Must be kept on a short lead at all times.

9.2. They must not be allowed to foul any part of the estate. A dog exercise woodland is provided. As a responsible owner we expect you to clear up any dog mess.

9.3. Dogs are not allowed in the Shop, Long barn, Swimming pool area, the toilets, showers or the launderette.

9.4. Dogs must not be left unattended on the site even in your unit.

9.5. Dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act are sadly not welcome onsite. 

 

10. Swimming pool

10.1 All children under 8 yrs must be accompanied by a responsible adult when in the pool area at all times.

10.2 Roller blades/skates or scooters are not allowed in the toilet blocks or swimming pool area.

10.3. The decision to alter the pool dome is at the Manager's discretion, in sustained good weather the pool dome will be taken down, this requires the pool to be closed for half a day to alter the facility. Likewise if the dome is not up and bad weather is forecast we may decide to put the dome back up also requiring half a day of closure. 

 

11. Noise

11.1. We expect the site to be quiet from 11pm and night wardens are on duty to enforce this.

11.2. All children and young people under 18 are expected to be back at their pitch with their families by 11pm.

11.3 Radios and televisions should be used considerately during the day and on very low volume before 8am and after 11.00pm.

 

12. Data Protection

12.1. When you book with us, you’ll be giving us some personal information about you and the other people coming with you. We will use the personal information that you provide to process your booking and payments and provide you with information relating to your booking. You can opt out at any time by contacting us. Our detailed Privacy Policy is available on our website.

12.2. We will only correspond with the lead customer on the booking. It is your responsibility to inform all other members of your party what information about them you are providing to us, and what we will use it for.

12.3. We have CCTV cameras at some locations at our holiday Parks for crime prevention and safety reasons.

13. Safeguarding 

We don't knowingly allow any guest to use or visit our parks who: (i) has an unspent criminal conviction; (ii) has an entry on a criminal register (including the sex offenders' register); (iii) has any record of any order indicating antisocial behaviour, violence, abuse, public disorder, or criminal damage or any other form of antisocial behaviour; (iv) is a convicted sex offender, subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003; or (v) is subject to a Risk of Sexual Harm Order or Child Abduction Notice. If you don't disclose this information about yourself or any other member of your party, and it later becomes known to us, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and require that you, and the other members of your party, leave the park, without refund.
